The alliance targets gaps that hold dentists and DSOs back. Many dentists carry clinical skills gaps into practice, and many sound treatment plans never become accepted care because the patient conversation breaks down. Clear Aligner Advisor estimates that more than 75% of DSO patients qualify for aligner treatment, but far fewer are diagnosed, because many GPs lack the confidence to offer it. Burnout raises the stakes: GoTu’s 2026 State of Work Report, a survey of 7,914 U.S. dental professionals, found that 54.1% report burnout and that 49.3% of those experiencing burnout have considered leaving the field.
